FOIA 24-09538-F requested all photographs of President Obama or Vice President Biden in the Situation Room, as well as associated date/time groups and metadata of the photo.  This segment of the FOIA contains photographs from January 21, 2009, through July 31, 2010.  

This FOIA primarily contains photographs and photo metadata from meetings in the Situation Room from January 21, 2009, through July 31, 2010.  Meetings include terrorism threat briefings; foreign leader phone calls; National Security Council meetings; homeland security briefings; and meetings on Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and North Korea.  

It should be noted that many of the photographs in this FOIA have been closed due to National Security classification and/or exemptions of the Freedom of Information Act.

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) instance of the Electronic Records Archive (ERA) contains electronic records created or received by Obama administration staff. These records are stored in Search and Access Sets (SAS) that represent their originating computer program, such as Exchange Email or the Worker and Visitor Entry System (WAVES). In addition to records captured from the White House’s electronic systems, EOP-ERA also contains records from the home and shared drives used by White House staff.
