Exchange Email - Presidential Press Releases, August 2010
The Press Releases series consists of email messages sent from the noreply@messages.whitehouse.gov email address. The range of dates processed as part of this subseries includes August 1, 2010 to August 9, 2010 and August 13, 2010 to August 30, 2010.
The Press Releases include press schedules of President Barack Obama, Vice President Joseph Biden, and First Lady Michelle Obama, as well as Executive Orders, fact sheets, messages, notices, personnel announcements, press briefings, proclamations, speeches, and statements.
Obama Electronic records are stored within the Electronic Records Archive (ERA) as Search and Access Sets (SAS). These materials are from the Exchange Email – Presidential Search and Access Set. The Exchange Email SAS contains multiple copies of messages sent or received by staff members within the White House, so there are a large number of duplicative emails within the Press Releases – August subseries.
