FOIA 22-30050-F requested all photos and videos held by the Barack Obama Presidential Library dated August 6, 2012.
This FOIA primarily contains photographs of President Obama on foreign leader calls with President Mariano Rajoy Brey of Spain and Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany; participating in a departure meeting with Cass Sunstein, Director of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs; dropping by a meeting on the future of disability policy in the Roosevelt Room; signing the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012; visiting with Make-A-Wish kid Francisco Lopez Pena; and traveling to and from Stamford, Connecticut. There are also photographs of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in South Africa visiting with Nelson Mandela at his home, addressing a gathering at an American and South African Business Summit at the Sandton Hilton, and participating in a meet and greet at the U.S. Embassy.
Video footage includes President Obama signing the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012, arrivals and departures of the trip to and from Connecticut, and daily news summaries from August 6, 2012.

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) instance of the Electronic Records Archive (ERA) contains electronic records created or received by Obama administration staff. These records are stored in Search and Access Sets (SAS) that represent their originating computer program, such as Exchange Email or the Worker and Visitor Entry System (WAVES). In addition to records captured from the White House’s electronic systems, EOP-ERA also contains records from the home and shared drives used by White House staff.
White House Communications Agency records are processed at the folder/videotape level. While this method maintains folder/videotape integrity, it frequently results in the incidental processing of videotapes that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
